Fire Safety Visit

Snap shots of Pre-school and Foundation learning about water safety Thanks to @nottsfire, we now know the green flags at the beach do not show the route to the ice-cream, but actually show where it is a safer area to swim!

What we need to grow

F1 have been learning about what we need to grow! Our caterpillars are snug in their cocoons . We all have beans to water at home. Luckily we have the wonderful Miss Hindson looking after our goldfish over the two week break. Busy, busy! Have fun, stay safe #EarlyYears

The Book Bus

Children in Foundation 1 loved seeing what the @TheBookPeople had to offer on their bus full of books! Our favourites were LEGO Harry Potter Back to Hogwarts and The Dinosaur That Pooped A Princess! #HappyReading

Happy hens!

Miss Pannell told us all about how she looks after her happy hens. Miss Pannell adopted her hens from @BHWTOfficial – here they are showing off their newly grown feathers to Foundation 1

Foundation 1 New Standpit

Foundation 1 enjoying our new standpit! Sand play helps us to develop large muscle skills! We can dig, pour, sift, scoop, and clean up spills with a brush and dustpan! We develop our small muscle control too, as we use our sand accessories #EarlyYears

Foundation 1 New Classroom Space

Foundation 1 have adored accessing their new classroom space this week. Lots of role-play, crafts and modelling in a bright, open space.

Volunteering in Foundation 1

White Post Farm Animal Roadshow

Thank you for visiting us today @WhitePostFarm. We loved meeting the animals and hearing their fun facts. We especially loved the snake and the mouse as they feature in our Foundation 1 and Pre-School story this week, ‘The Gruffalo’ .

The Gingerbread Man

In Foundation 1 we are reading The Gingerbread Man. Thank you to all those who made gingerbread over the weekend as part of our home learning. We have even decorated our own gingerbread men in school. Look out for the fox, he’ll eat them all up!
