This week’s story in Foundation 1

Foundation 1 have been acting out this week’s story ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’. We have been tasting plain, salty and sweet porridge. The porridge topped with raisins to make it sweet has been voted our favourite! How do you like your porridge?

Foundation 1 Ralph the Reindeer

Foundation Police Visit

Our Foundation Stage children had an exciting visit from the Police. They had the opportunity to discuss what the police do on a day to day basis and looked at their equipment and uniform.

Foundation Stage Drumming Workshop

Our Foundation Stage children had a great time when ‘Beatfeet’ visited, they played the goat skin djembe drums to create the music and sounds of West Africa.  They even had cuddly animals to bring their music to life! Take a look at them in action.

Celebrations

The children will be focusing on the celebrations: Halloween, Bonfire Night, Birthdays and Christmas this half term. The children loved our Halloween themed week and particularly enjoying our ‘Bring a spider to school day!’.
