School meals letter

17.3.20

To Parent/Carers,

We currently have a large number of children not attending school due to the Coronavirus. We are keen to ensure that these children are still able to access a healthy lunch, even though they might not be in school.

For this reason, we are offering you the opportunity to order your child either a school pack up or a jacket potato. This will be free for Free School Meal children and will cost £2 for all other children to be paid for on the school money online system before collection. The lunch will need collecting from the café from 12:30pm onwards.

Please ensure that any adults collecting the lunch don’t have any coronavirus symptoms or are in the process of self-isolating. This might mean that you have to work together with friends or family to identify someone suitable to collect the lunch.

Below are the food choices:

School pack-up

Sandwich (Choice of ham, cheese and tuna – please specify)

Half a sausage roll

Fruit

Biscuit/cake

Water

Jacket Potato

With beans, cheese and tuna (You can choose up to two fillings)

Biscuit/cake

Water bottle

Orders need to be placed by 10am using the school text service 07786 201 170 (orders will only be accepted through the text service). Please specify your child’s name, class and what they would like.

Please note that this service will start from tomorrow. It will continue to run as long as we have the staffing capacity to run it and the required supply of food. If anything changes then we will let you know.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs L Connolly

(Principal)
