On Thursday 9th March the 70 pupils who make up The Forge Trust Academy Choir, met for the first time at Parkgate Academy to practise their entry for the Worksop Music Festival. 29 pupils travelled from Sir Donald Bailey to meet up with the choirs from Parkgate and Forest View. Each school have been rehearsing the two songs that they will be singing at the festival for many weeks and were excited to sing together for the first time; the sound was amazing! The choir will be competing at The Crossing in Worksop next Friday 17th March, in the age 12 and under choral section and will be singing Believe from Polar Express and The Disney Silly Singalong.
