Zephyr takes flight
Year 2 have been reading a great story called ‘Zephyr takes flight’ written by Steve Light. We have been learning all about the 4 sentence types and today we did some hot seating. The children loved asking Zephyr questions and we had some great responses!

Girls football team
Our girls football team also represented the school on Friday in a friendly indoor football tournament at the Newark Leisure Centre. The girls had great fun and played really well. They were also lucky enough to have a visit from two Nottingham Forest Ladies players!
We are extremely proud!⚽️
A huge congratulations to our football team who have won the Notts Forest Community Schools Cup! The tournament involved 15 teams from Newark and District. All the players showed outstanding teamwork and skill, and Mr Sangha and Mr Evans were extremely proud.
